The Pola Museum of Art is currently holding a collection exhibition titled ``Western Paintings: From Impressionism to French Paintings of the First Half of the 5th Century,'' which traces the evolution of Impressionism and subsequent French painting, including 16 carefully selected masterpieces, including 20 works by Monet. The exhibition period is until Sunday, May 2024, 5.

1874 marks the 1th anniversary since the first Impressionist exhibition was held in 150. The first Impressionist exhibition included Edouard Manet, Paul Cézanne, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Berthe Morisot, Edgar Degas, and Camille Pissarro. This collection exhibition will display important works by these artists.

Of particular interest is Monet, who will exhibit five works from ``Walk'' (1875) to ``Water Lilies'' (1907). You can follow the evolution of the artist's painting career, who left many works that capture the light with bright colors and quick brush strokes. In addition, there is a large bench installed in the center of Exhibition Room 5, which will be the venue, so you can enjoy your favorite works carefully.

How about spending a luxurious time surrounded by famous paintings in Hakone in early summer where you can feel the refreshing breeze?
