At the Tokyo Gas Museum in Kodaira, Tokyo, the ``Tokyo Scenery with Gas Lights'' commemorating the 160th anniversary of Yasuharu Inoue's birth is being held until Sunday, June 6th.

This exhibition introduces the landscape of Tokyo from around 10 to 20, when it was transforming into a modern city, through the eyes of Yasuharu Inoue, an artist who was all the rage with his beautiful, realistic expressions.

Yasuharu Inoue, who celebrated his 2024th birthday in 160, is famous for his 14 works, which were created in just over 22 years from 10 to 134, when he suddenly passed away at a young age. He is known for his series of works ``Illustrated illustrations of famous Tokyo true paintings''.

At the venue, Yasuharu Inoue's depictions of Tokyo, including his ``Illustrated Guide to True Paintings of Famous Places in Tokyo,'' will be exhibited, as well as works depicting gas lamps, a symbol of the modern city of Tokyo.
