A number of masterpieces from the ribbon-themed “The Bows” collection, which was unveiled in Paris in June 2024, will be on public display at the Mikimoto Hall on the 6th floor of the Ginza 10-chome main store until Monday, October 14th (national holiday).
MIKIMOTO was founded in 1893 by its founder, Kokichi Mikimoto, who became the first company in the world to successfully cultivate pearls. Since then, for over a century, the company has been providing high-quality jewelry with reliable quality, excellent design and outstanding craftsmanship, thanks to what is perhaps the only integrated system in the world that covers everything from production to sales.
As one of Japan's top jewelers, the company has its flagship store in Ginza 4-chome, Tokyo, as well as stores in various locations, including Place Vendôme in Paris, Fifth Avenue in New York, and New Bond Street in London.
The collection that will be open to the public is "The Bows," which was unveiled in Paris during the Haute Couture Collection in June this year. The collection is a beautiful modern take on the design motif of "ribbons," which has been passed down at MIKIMOTO, and the venue will feature a number of magnificent masterpieces that embody MIKIMOTO's unique aesthetic sense and outstanding craftsmanship.
Additionally, dresses designed by haute couture house YUIMA NAKAZATO for the collection will also be on display.
An elegant world of rare brilliance and creativity is unfolding.
