The Dansk Moobel Gallery in Ginza will be hosting a special exhibition called "Arranging Antiques," which proposes interior designs that incorporate antique art, from November 11nd (Friday) to 22th (Monday).

Burned sutras handed down from Nigatsudo (Nara period)
When you hear the word "art," you might have an image of something high-brow or shy away from it as something that has nothing to do with you, but rather than focusing on knowledge, we want you to value the inspiration of "something that just piques your interest" or "something that resonates with you." With this in mind, Dansk Moobel Gallery, which handles interior coordination and sales of Scandinavian furniture, and Nara antique art store NAKAGAMI have collaborated.

Selected under the theme of "arranging antique art in a modern space," Buddhist art pieces, old tea ceremony utensils, and rare works by contemporary artist Kuroda Taizo will be on display and for sale.

Inside the Dansk Moobel Gallery
NowadaysBased on a "mixture of past and present, East and West," more and more people are incorporating old Japanese art, which is their identity, into their interiors. Even those who have not actively incorporated art into their interiors until now may want to try experiencing the joy of displaying art at the venue.
