The venue, the Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, is a museum that is open to the public as it was in the former residence of Prince Asaka, built in 1933. The Art Deco design, commissioned by Prince and Princess Asaka, remains almost exactly as it was at the time, making it a rare example of architecture where you can experience the atmosphere of the time. It is an ideal venue to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Art Deco Exposition.
