Prior to the "2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix" to be held at Suzuka Circuit from March 27th to 29th, 2026, a special event, "SCUDERIA FERRARI NIGHTOUT 2026 @NAGOYA," was held on March 25th at "Espacio Nagoya Castle" in Nagoya, a collaboration between Espacio and Scuderia Ferrari HP.
Team principal Frédéric Vasseur and driver Charles Leclerc appeared at the event, and many guests attended, sharing a special moment as it was a rare opportunity just before the start of the F1 Japanese Grand Prix.
A special experience in a luxurious setting
The venue, Espacio Nagoya Castle, is a luxury hotel overlooking Nagoya Castle, with the concept of becoming "an art museum hotel that the world can be proud of." The overwhelming view of the castle tower, topped with golden shachihoko (mythical fish-like creatures), from the hotel windows enhanced the special atmosphere of the F1 Japan Grand Prix. The event started with the sudden appearance of an opera singer from within the venue, and the hall erupted in cheers.
In fact, the event was planned by Tatsuya Kushima, who writes a series of car articles for Premium Japan. The host was Alan.J, who works on radio programs and other shows, and the presenters included Francesco Bellissimo, an Italian who is also a culinary researcher and TV personality.

The long-awaited talk show: Discussing Ferrari, Japanese culture, and their feelings about Suzuka.
The talk session featured Scuderia Ferrari HP team principal Frédéric Vasseur and driver Charles Leclerc. Many people surrounded the venue, trying to take pictures of the two. They first spoke about their impressions of Espacio Nagoya Castle.
Leclerc commented, "It's a very special hotel, blending modern design with Japanese history and art." He further praised the space, saying, "You can feel the attention to detail, making it a very comfortable place to stay."
Regarding the similarities with Japanese culture, Vasseur said, "Ferrari carries the weight of Italian history, but always looks to the future. The Espacio is the same; tradition and innovation coexist," touching upon the affinity between the two values.

When the conversation shifted to the "2026 F1 Japanese Grand Prix" to be held at Suzuka Circuit, Leclerc said the following:
"Suzuka is one of the most special circuits of the season. The first S-curve section, in particular, is iconic and very challenging."
He also spoke about his Japanese fans, saying, "Japanese fans are very creative and warm. I receive wonderful support in every country, but Japan is special."

Meanwhile, Vasseur commented on the season, saying, "We've taken a good step forward amidst the major regulation changes. There's still room for improvement, but we want to push the speed even further." Looking ahead to the race at Suzuka, he expressed his determination with confidence, saying, "It won't be an easy race, but we'll do our best to win."
Following the talk show, a photo session and a raffle for Ferrari merchandise were held, providing attendees with a valuable opportunity to interact closely with key figures from Ferrari.
This event, structured within a limited timeframe, combined the excitement of F1 with a luxurious experience, making it a truly special "night before the opening race" on this unique occasion held in Japan.
Finally, let me report the results.
In the final race of the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, the third race of the season held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) took first place. Oscar Piastri (McLaren) came in second, and Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) came in third.
