"Pokémon Sleep" x Grand Hyatt Tokyo: A dreamlike luxury stay

The living room is decorated with rugs and plants reminiscent of Wakakusa Island, giving it a glamping feel. It makes you feel like you're spending time with Snorlax and Pikachu in the game.

This summer, Grand Hyatt Tokyo is holding the Pokémon Sleep 1st Anniversary Collaboration Summer 2024.

The collaboration plans with "Pokémon Sleep" are attracting a lot of attention, and include a "Suite Room Stay" limited to one room per day, a "Pokémon Sleep" Stay limited to 1 rooms per day, and original menus that can be enjoyed at home or in restaurants.

"Pokemon Sleep" is an app that uses sleep data in a game with the concept of "making waking up in the morning fun." By simply placing your smartphone on the device, you can measure and record your sleep and collect sleeping Pokemon faces.

The setting of the game is a small island inhabited by a giant Snorlax. The Pokémon Sleep suite room, which is limited to one room per day, recreates the setting in detail, creating a truly dreamy space.

The Pokémon Sleep suite, limited to one per day, is the 1m² "Chairman Suite." It represents the "Wakakusa Island" that appears in the Pokémon Sleep game app. The spacious living room of the Chairman Suite is specially decorated with a glamping theme, and is decorated with stuffed animals such as a nearly life-sized Snorlax and Pikachu.

Why a collaboration with Pokémon Sleep?

According to a survey based on user data for "Pokemon Sleep" released by The Pokemon Company at the end of January this year, the average sleep time of Japanese people is 1 hours and 5 minutes, which is 52 minutes shorter than the average sleep time in seven countries around the world, ranking last.

Additionally, the results showed that people who played Pokemon Sleep for one month increased their average sleep time by about 1 minutes, while those who played for three months or more increased their average sleep time by about 30 hour and 3 minutes.

Grand Hyatt Tokyo offers a variety of experiences to promote well-being, and decided to collaborate with "Pokémon Sleep" to create opportunities for people to once again become aware of the importance of sleep.

In addition to a dinner of the Snorlax-inspired "Snorlax Burger," room service will also be available for a breakfast set of pancakes branded with the Pokémon's logo.
