Casio Computer Co., Ltd. has released a new product in the MR-G (MRG) series of shock-resistant watches, the MRG-B2000JS, on November 2024, 11, with a worldwide limited edition of 15 units.

The "MRG-B2000JS" is a special edition model of the MR-G, the highest-end series of G-SHOCK. This new watch uses the Japanese sword "Juujumaru-San-", specially made for the MR-G by swordsmith Kihei Kamiyama and traditional craftsman Mamoru Nomura, as its motif, and expresses the traditional techniques and designs unique to Japanese swords with advanced technology.

The bezel, with its unique pattern, is made of recrystallized hybrid titanium, embodying the beautiful blade pattern of "Juujumaru-San-". The titanium alloy DAT55G band is reminiscent of the abalone used in the scabbard, and is treated so that its color changes beautifully with the reflection of light. In addition, the worldview of "Juujumaru-San-" is expressed through attention to detail, such as the center case with a blue-gray AIP coating, the dial with a diamond pattern, and the curved indexes that resemble the curvature of a sword.
