The Westin Osaka introduces strawberry-filled dessert course

The chef's counter at Amadeus restaurant in the Westin Osaka is offering a strawberry-themed dessert course called "Strawberry Journey" until Monday, March 3st, where you can taste five varieties of domestic strawberries.



The chef's counter, which is limited to six seats, is a special place where you can watch the chefs and pastry chefs prepare the dishes right in front of you. With the dessert course, you can see the moment when "cuteness" is created, which is a little different from afternoon tea or sweets buffets.

This time, "Strawberry Journey" will use five varieties of strawberries carefully selected by a pastry chef from among the high-quality domestic strawberries. Menus that make the most of the characteristics of each variety will be prepared right in front of you, allowing you to enjoy freshly made dishes.

The first thing served is an appetizer made with "Amaou," a strawberry with a well-balanced sweetness and sourness, followed by a gorgeous plate themed on "A Girl in Love," made with "Koi Minori," a strawberry with a firm sweetness and mild sourness.

When you smash the strawberry bowl, strawberry milk spills out of the soup, which is made with the fragrant and fruity "Kotoka" strawberry. After enjoying a quiche to cleanse your palate, an adorable parfait will be served, made with two types of strawberry: the gently sweet "Awayuki" strawberry and the bright red "Kurozu Ichigo" strawberry.
