It has been approximately 20 years since the completion of the Caliber 9R65, a Spring Drive movement designed exclusively for Grand Seiko in 2004, featuring a highly practical automatic winding mechanism and a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. The violet dial depicts the mystical dawn of the frost-covered trees that spread across the Kirigamine Plateau in Suwa with an intricately embossed pattern and delicate gradation.
