Wedgwood releases limited edition Japanese accessories made from jasper

To commemorate the 250th anniversary of Jasper, the original material that symbolizes Wedgwood, a brand that is a supplier to the British Royal Family, a limited edition Jasper "Obidome Arabesque" has been released.

The motifs are removed from the mold one by one and carefully applied by hand by skilled craftsmen at our British factory.

Jasper is a unique material born from the inquisitive mind of founder Josiah Wedgwood. It is still crafted by skilled artisans at the Burslem factory in England using the same techniques as when it was first created. Its matte texture and soft color have made it a beloved material across the ages and for a variety of uses, from jewelry and coat buttons to sword fittings and high heel decorations, adding an elegant accent to any outfit.

The Japan-exclusive "Obidome Arabesque" features an arabesque motif of elegantly intertwined leaves and vines, with a rose flower, symbolizing love and beauty, in the center. Each piece is handcrafted by British artisans, and can be enjoyed in a variety of looks depending on the kimono pattern and obi-jime you pair it with.

In addition, a new collection called "Wedgwood - KIMONO COLLECTION" has been launched, which expresses Wedgwood's signature patterns as kimonos. Six motifs that symbolize the brand, such as "Phoenix" and "Florentine," are available in a variety of items such as formal kimonos, tsukesage, obi, and komon. The collection, which blends traditional Japanese and Western crafts, will be sold through Tsukamoto Ichida Co., Ltd.

This commemorative collection brings together craftsmanship that has been passed down for 250 years and Japanese aesthetics. It is a must-have item that will add a quiet elegance to your outfit.
