Wakuden's Winter Offering the Taste of the Season

2026.1.5

Introducing winter gifts that utilize the bounty of Kyotango, the place where the company was founded

Murasakino Wakuden, a gift shop that follows in the footsteps of the traditional Japanese restaurant Kodaiji Wakuden and was founded as a ryokan inn in Kyotango, Kyoto, is selling winter gifts that bring seasonal flavors, such as refrigerated gifts and Japanese sweets, for a limited time until Saturday, February 28th.

This collection features a selection of dishes that can only be found at a traditional Japanese restaurant, from dishes that can be enjoyed as snacks with sake to gentle, sweet dishes. The "Tai Nyumen" can be given at room temperature, and has a gentle and elegant taste, with the rich flavor of fragrantly grilled sea bream blending into the broth. It is useful not only as a gift, but also as a stockpile at home.
