Tokyo Art & Antiques, which began as the Nihonbashi-Kyobashi Art and Antiques Festival in 1998, will be held in Nihonbashi and Kyobashi from Thursday, April 23rd to Saturday, April 25th, 2026.

This year marks the 16th anniversary of the event, and the theme is "An art town filled with history and culture that discerning art lovers should visit," with approximately 80 art galleries and art stores participating to offer an encounter with art that can only be experienced in this area. As you walk through Nihonbashi and Kyobashi, you can enjoy an art experience for adults, choosing and appreciating art according to your own senses.

This time, a new project focusing on back alleys, "3 Recommended Back Alley Routes," has also been introduced. The "3 Recommended Architecture" features Mayuyama Ryusendo, Kochukyo, and Meijiya. The "3 Recommended Cultural Figures" feature Kitaoji Rosanjin, Utagawa Hiroshige, and Okamoto Katei. The "3 Retro" features Ebiya Art Shop, Kyorai, Mokki, Maison de Neko no Koji, and Maesaka Seitendo, allowing you to experience the unique beauty of Nihonbashi and Kyobashi from a different perspective than the main streets.

During the period, there will be a talk event by Naoki Prize-winning author Sawada Hitomi, known for her works that focus on historical figures and events, as well as a charity auction. It will be a three-day period where you can trace the memories of beauty in a town that has aged over time.
