To commemorate its 5th anniversary, Asama Kuuzanbo, a villa resort in Kita-Karuizawa, Gunma Prefecture, will hold a one-day event called "Kita-Karuizawa Mini Fiesta" on April 29th (Wednesday, public holiday) as a token of gratitude to the local community and nature. The event is open to non-guests as well, and admission is free.
Asama Sora Sanbo features just 16 villas spread across a vast 60,000 square meter site. Located amidst the beautiful nature of Kita-Karuizawa, it offers a stay that engages all five senses.
This milestone event will feature a variety of content that allows visitors to experience the charm of Kita-Karuizawa, centered around food, art, wellness, and nature experiences. A dog run where you can spend special time with your beloved dog, as well as photo spots, will also be available.
Of particular interest is the limited-time revival of "raw donuts" by the former exclusive chef of "RK DONUTS," which was popular in Karuizawa. A "Five Senses Donut Set" (limited to 20 sets) commemorating the 5th anniversary and donuts for dogs (limited to 10) will also be specially sold, and all of these can be reserved and picked up in advance online.
In addition, there will be imoni (taro stew) from "Yamagata Imoni Food Truck Montagne," which operates mainly in Nagano, and the facility's proud drip coffee. Furthermore, a mini market will be set up offering fresh local vegetables perfect as souvenirs, as well as wellness items.
