A new cafe where you can experience a historical space, "TOKYO STATION CAFE -THE NORTH DOME-," has opened inside the North Dome of the Tokyo Station Marunouchi building.
Whether waiting for someone's arrival or savoring the lingering memories of a journey, the "waiting room" at the ticket gate exit of Tokyo Station has witnessed countless journeys since its completion in 1914. The newly opened cafe is a space that carries on those memories into the present day.
The interior, based on the concept of "a space to savor time and enjoy culture," is surrounded by structural brick walls that are part of an important cultural property, and when you look up you can see the octagonal ceiling unique to Tokyo Station. Furthermore, symbolic seats with custom-made carpets that mimic the design of the ceiling are placed at your feet, allowing you to feel the historical texture firsthand.

The menu includes the "TOKYO STATION CAFE Original Dome Zuccotto," a limited-edition cake inspired by the North Dome of the Marunouchi Station building, and the "Afternoon Tea Plate," which combines seasonal sweets and savory items on one plate.
The drinks also reflect a meticulous attention to detail. The lineup includes an original blend of Darjeeling and Assam teas, combined with mellow, sweet Japanese black tea, as well as siphon-brewed coffee—a selection designed to accompany moments of reflection and escape from the everyday.

A space that caters to the diverse scenes unique to Tokyo Station—those waiting, those departing, and those coming and going. It's a reliable spot when you want to take a breather.
