Japan Cultural Communications Organization (JCCO) aims to

The Japan Cultural Communications Organization (JCCO), a general incorporated association established in December 2014 with the philosophy of "Bringing Japanese culture to the world," will collaborate with Premium Japan to host the "PREMIUM JAPAN AWARD" starting in 2026.

Since its launch in 2015, Premium Japan has been disseminating content touching on "Japanese aesthetics" such as food, traditions, crafts, art, and travel to the world in multiple languages. This award is a project that further develops the editorial policy into social value, and was created with the aim of "sharing the essence of Japanese culture with the world." The award recognizes individuals, organizations, producers, and special projects that embody the essence of Japan and have made a notable contribution to Japanese culture over the past year in a wide range of cultural fields, including traditional arts, contemporary culture, and food culture.

In collaboration with JCCO, whose board of directors and executives include leaders from various fields, the first awards will be announced in the spring of 2026. We will continue to promote the true value of Japanese culture, focusing particularly on communicating with overseas audiences in English.

In the future, Premium Japan hopes to share the significance of the awards and other topics through interviews with the board members. Please look forward to it.
