Geese are migratory birds. When the air warms and the cherry blossoms begin to disperse, you can see flocks of them flying off to the north, as if they were mistaken for swallows. Kogan both refer to wild geese. ``Ko'' is pronounced as ``hishikui'' and refers to a large wild goose. Geese are said to be smaller than hawks.
