2023.5.17

Can you read? Japan's traditional color ``Flammame green'' refers to those beans in a pod.

Origin: Africa, Ethiopia. This plant has long been recorded in Central Asia and the Mediterranean region. It came to Japan via China around the 8th century. It was not until the Meiji period that it began to be cultivated in earnest in Japan. It is dried for preservation and used in cooking and sweets. These beans are cute in their fresh green color.
