Can you read? Japan's traditional color ``棗iro'' is not pronounced as ``tsukiiro''

What is Japan's traditional color "Amber"?

Brown is also called ``Kachiiro'' as it is the color associated with ``victory'', and it is said that samurai warriors preferred to dye the leather and fabric of their weapons this color. Due to historical background, words such as ``odoshi'' and ``hitatare'' were born in addition to ``tan''. It is different from the reddish-brown color that is currently called "kasshoku".

Amber = Kachiniro

It looks black at first glance, but it is a color dyed with indigo, which is darker and deeper than navy blue. It is also called tsuiroiro or haisen, because the cloth is pounded with a mortar to allow the indigo to penetrate. ``Riniro'' is pronounced as ``kachiniro''.
