Minato Nezumi is a color with a calm and elegant atmosphere, characterized by a light blue-green color with a grayish tint. It is said to have originated from Minato paper, which was made in Minatomura, Osaka, and was used for pasting walls and sliding doors. It was also known as Fukagawa Nezumi, as it was popular in the Fukagawa area, a temple town of Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine, located in the west of Koto Ward, Tokyo.
