What is the traditional Japanese color "Sencha"?
Sencha is a deep brown color like the sencha tea that is drunk on a daily basis. It is also called "senjicha dye" because it is dyed with the decoction of sencha tea. In modern times, tea leaves are placed in a teapot and hot water is poured over it to drink, but in the past, it was common to boil the leaves in a pot or kettle and drink it. Sencha is characterized by a calm, deep hue, and is a color that is familiar in everyday life and is rooted in the old-fashioned tea drinking culture.
Senchairo = Senchairo
There is a style of sencha called "sencha-do" where you can enjoy sencha in a free style. Unlike the "matchado" style where you make powdered matcha, the tea room of the sencha-do is bright and open, and you can feel one with nature through sencha. "Sencha" is pronounced "senchairo".
