Can you read it? The traditional Japanese color "Utsugane" is not pronounced "Utsugane"

What is the traditional Japanese color "Ukon"?

Turmeric is a bright yellow dyed with the roots of turmeric, a perennial plant of the ginger family. Using lye results in a stronger reddish hue, but using vinegar results in a brighter yellow with less of the reddish hue of turmeric, and in the early Edo period, it was popular with many people as a flashy color along with scarlet. Because turmeric has antiseptic and insect-repellent properties, cotton dyed with turmeric was also used for baby clothes, underwear, and cloth for wrapping antique art and pottery.

Turmeric color = Ukoniro

Turmeric rhizomes, when powdered, become a spice called turmeric, and are also used as a coloring agent for curry powder and pickled radish. "Ukon-iro" is pronounced "Ukon-iro".
