``ORJ (One Rack Jack)'' is a new line from Issey Miyake's ``HaaT'' launched in 2017. High-quality everyday wear is available in a small number of items on one hanger rack. Her model, Hiromi Yamamura, met ORJ during a lookbook shoot for the fall/winter 2018 season. I will write about the appeal of ORJ as I feel it by touching the materials, putting sleeves through clothes, and actually seeing it in action.

ORJ, which started in 2017, had a different impression from the Issey Miyake clothes that I had in mind, but for now, I went to the outfit matching based on the photos from the start. When he entered the room where ORJ's clothes were hanging, he felt a gentle breeze flowing through him. He knew what that meant as soon as he put on the clothes. The material feels comfortable against the skin, and the beautiful flow of each step. These clothes gave the impression of the hands of people who have been involved in making clothes for many years, and I could truly see the brilliance of the clothes being alive.

During the shoot, the atmosphere created by the entire team reflected the spirit that could be felt from the clothes. As he looked at the photos that came up one by one, he wondered if he had ever seen a photo that showed his heart so honestly. I realized that I had been trying to be something in front of the camera. In this shoot, I felt like I was going back even more inside myself. When I realized this as a photograph, I gained a new level of confidence.
By wearing ORJ, my heart
Be kind, deep, and beautiful

After I started working as a model, there were times when I wasn't used to wearing clothes, times when my ego was awakened, times when I felt confident and confident, and times when I felt despair. Each time, she was taught a new direction for the future. Her encounter with ORJ felt like her heart was being photographed as she carried with her everything she had lived through. I think it was because of the clothes that allowed me to do that, and also because the space that the team created allowed me to be myself. It is also the respect that the creator feels when wearing the clothes, thinking about and caring for the wearer.

I want you to feel what Issey Miyake has always cherished, and to bring the new line ORJ into the present era.
