Hello. My name is Nakajima from the Premium Japan editorial department. Is there a place that comes to your mind when you think of a power spot? I have several places, but my favorite is Samukawa Shrine. It takes about two hours to get there from Tokyo by car or train, and it's a place where you can feel refreshed no matter when you go. It's a place you want to go to when you're unsure about something or when something tugs at your heartstrings.
Samukawa Shrine was founded approximately 1600 years ago during the reign of Emperor Yuryaku. At that time, it was already known as a famous shrine throughout the Kanto region. Recently, Mr. Iida of Getters mentioned Samukawa Shrine as a power spot, and it has been attracting even more attention.
As it is a popular power spot, there is no shortage of people who come to pray. People gather not only from the Shonan area but also from all over the Kanto region, and although it is especially crowded on weekends, you can often see families relaxing while strolling around the large grounds while praying. The peaceful atmosphere around the shrine. It makes you feel very relaxed.
The reason why I recommend Samukawa Shrine is because of the presence of ``Kantakeyama Shrine''. After visiting the shrine, be sure to visit the Kamitakeyama Shinen, which is located at the back of the main shrine. There is a Japanese garden with a stroll around a pond, and there is also a teahouse and a museum. The blue maple leaves that are unique to this season are truly refreshing, and the sound of water echoing in the silence makes you want to stay in this garden forever. This is truly a power spot! A place where you can say. It gives me a breather, an indescribable peace of mind. I guess you could say it's a place I keep coming back to because I want to immerse myself in that feeling.
Chozuya is right after entering the entrance. My mind is already away from everyday life and into tranquility.
Warakutei is open from 9:15am to XNUMX:XNUMXpm, where you can enjoy matcha tea and sweets.
The sweets seem to change depending on the day. On this day, I chose the matcha and rakugan set. The entrance fee starts from 500 yen.
The first time I went to Samukawa Shrine was about 15 years ago. This was when I moved into my current room. When I told my friend that I had moved without considering the direction, he told me that was a bad idea and that he should definitely do Happou Yoke at Samukawa Shrine! I received this advice and decided to have the exorcism done right away.
After that, visits to Samukawa Shrine ceased for several years. However, during that time, various events happened in both his work and private life, and his days were like a roller coaster. At that moment, I suddenly thought to myself, ``Oh, maybe it's because I haven't been to Samukawa Shrine to pray.'' So I went there for the first time in several years.
Just because I had an exorcism, it doesn't mean that there was a big change right away. Since I visited the temple for the first time in a while, the changes have been gradual and gradual. Things that had been bothering me for several years began to subside over the past year and a half. It seemed like a lie that I had been so cornered that I didn't think I had ever been there before. Since then, I have started visiting Samukawa Shrine once a year, and whenever I have something to worry about.
What kind of benefits does Happoyoku bring? According to Samukawa Shrine, ``Samukawa Daimyojin is the only divine virtue in Japan that removes all misfortunes and misfortunes caused by the geography, family situation, direction, pattern of the sun, etc., and brings prosperity to the family business and happiness and happiness.'' It is said to remove all evil and misfortune, invite good fortune, and bring endless blessings to your life.
Not only will you receive blessings, but the feeling of being on a short excursion for adults, such as strolling around Kandakeyama Shinen, where the good spirits are flowing, and visiting Kamakura on the way back, will be good for your soul! That's what I feel. It may make sense to visit power spots at various events and timings in your life.
Good things and bad things happen in life, but when you're cornered, you can't see what's around you. At times like these, you may need to stretch your legs a bit and spend some time in a different way than usual. Step away from everyday life for a moment, put your forehead in front of the gods and Buddha, and just pray. I think people seek out power spots in order to heal their hurt hearts, make a break, and move forward.
The green maple leaves at Kandakeyama Shrine are spectacular this time of year! The autumn leaves are beautiful, but the beauty of the blue maple leaves shining in the early summer sunlight is exceptional. I feel a youthful vitality and I love it. After enjoying a cup of matcha at Warakutei, many people sit on the stone steps in the garden and gaze at the garden forever, surrounded by the sound of the murmuring stream, and I was one of them.
Vibrant blue maple leaves are here and there. It's very relaxing.
Spend a time at the shrine garden where all you can hear is the sound of murmuring streams, chirping birds, and the rustling of plants and trees in the wind. There are many people sitting on the stone steps and standing in silence.
This time, I visited Samukawa Shrine to pray for the entire Premium Japan editorial team to stay healthy and get through the remaining six months of 2022 without any problems. The next time I will visit will be around XNUMX years old. It is my favorite power spot and I would definitely like to visit again.
