What is Sushi Naomitsu, a famous restaurant in Nakameguro?

Sushi Takamitsu is known as a restaurant that is difficult to make reservations for. It was in May 2011 that we opened our shop in a quiet back alley that belied the hustle and bustle of Nakameguro. Chef Naomitsu Yasuda joined Jiyugaoka's famous restaurant Sushi Kou at the young age of 15 and trained for 30 years until he became independent at the age of 15. We chose Nakameguro because we wanted to attract regular customers who have loved us over the years.

 

Its dignified appearance is reminiscent of a famous restaurant. Four Louis Vuitton attache cases are lined up on the counter, and in front of customers is a colorful chopstick case modeled after the famous brand's image colors. It's a rather unique attempt for a high-end restaurant, but once you start eating the sushi, it doesn't feel strange at all. In front of the overwhelming deliciousness of the sushi, such playfulness can be forgiven.

Refined sushi made with careful Edomae style, using only the finest ingredients carefully selected for their production area and season. On this day, bluefin tuna from Miyakejima, tuna from Saga, and tuna caught in fixed nets from nearby waters from May, as well as sea urchin, will be delicious. There are always 25 and XNUMX types of toppings available. One of our specialties is that we cook the sushi rice six times a day, so that we can provide you with the best seasoned sushi rice every time you come. In order to allow customers to enjoy as many types of toppings as possible, we offer small, slightly hard pieces of sushi. Three types of vinegar are used. For example, the flavor of tuna changes throughout the year, so we change the combination of red vinegar that day depending on the level of fat.
