Japan is famous for mountains, and with mountains come waterfalls. Here are some of the most beautiful in Japan.
Located in Hokkaido’s Shiretoko, this staircase style waterfall is also called the “Twin Beauties”, because it splits in two.
02.Akiu Great Falls
These falls can be found in Sendai of Miyagi prefecture. They are known for their large volume, and the roaring sound them produce.

These falls are part of what makes Nikko in Tochigi prefecture so famous. The 97m falls are beautiful in any season.

These immense 350m falls can be found in Tateyama of Toyama prefecture. Sometimes you can even see a 3rd fall to the right.
