A collaboration with famed photographer Mika Ninagawa and an aquarium: Drifting Jellyfish

Jellyfish are mysterious creatures that have kept the same form for countless millennia. When you see them listlessly floating in the water, you start to understand why that is. Time seems to stop.

This collaboration is being held at Sumida Aquarium until the 14th of March 2017. Premium Japan had a chance to cover it at the pre-opening press event.

This is the second time this collaboration has been held. "I personally love aquariums, and often visited them as a child, so being able to work with Sumida aquarium last year was fantastic. Having the chance to do it again this year is just great." said Mika Ninagawa.

The jellyfish appear almost as if they are floating, and you can't help but feel like you might be too.

We recommend taking your time, and fully experiencing this seemingly alien landscape.
